Trivia[]

  • When Martin apologizes to Frasier saying, "Well, last October you said we would go to a game together, but I thought that was just a lot of talk," this refers to The Bad Son (which aired the previous October), in which Frasier tells Martin that he doesn't want him to move to the retirement home and that he wants them to do more things together, including going to Sonics games.
  • David Hyde Pierce did actually make the half-court basket shown in this episode, on the 27th take.
  • During the basketball sequence, the song "Sirius" by The Alan Parsons Project is playing. This song was famously used as the entrance music for the Chicago Bulls throughout most of the 1990s and early 2000s, as well as by several other professional basketball teams.
