Season 1 of American comedy series Frasier aired on NBC television network.

About[]

After spending nine years in Boston, Frasier Crane returns to his hometown of Seattle for a fresh start following his divorce from Lilith Sternin. Frasier begins a new career as the host of his own radio call-in show, where he is assisted by his sassy, somewhat promiscuous producer Roz Doyle. Frasier's independence ends up being short lived when his brother Niles Crane, also a psychiatrist, informs him that their father Martin Crane can no longer live by himself after getting shot in the hip. A reluctant Frasier agrees to take his father in, along with his dog Eddie and his favorite recliner. Soon afterwards, Frasier hires a live-in housekeeper and therapist, Daphne Moon, an eccentric British immigrant who believes she is psychic.

The remainder of the season sees Frasier and Martin trying to coexist living under the same roof, Niles becoming smitten with Daphne and spending an evening with her during a thunderstorm, Frasier reuniting with his ex-wife Lilith, The Cranes taking a cross-country trip in Martin's Winnebago, as well as Frasier and Niles attempting to collaborate on a book.
