- This episode, and Part 2 did not feature any comedic moments during the closing credits. Instead, NBC ran a promo after the one-hour finale both in its first-run and rerun appearances. In syndication, it simply showed Frasier Crane's darkened apartment without any cast members being present.
- Per the title, for good luck the bride must wear something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
- Frasier had good reason to gasp when he saw that the wine given to Martin by Morrie's widow was a 1945 bottle of Chateau Petrus. These days, a 1950 vintage sells for $7000 a bottle.
- As Niles walks across the apartment to tell Martin he's gotten married to Mel a member of the crew can clearly be seen to the left of the screen.
